The KAVV now regularly meets at the Kenosha Heroes Cafe located in the Festival Foods Mezzanine on Fridays. Stop on by for the coffee and cakes, and stay for the camaraderie!

We caught a scheduling break this year as St Catherines Commons decided to have their annual ceremony on the 10th, Whew! We invited George Peter to attend the ceremony with us again this year.

We were the Color Guard again this year. Tim’s quick thinking got us through a minor equipment failure (not the first time for that). Ask him about it!

The Honor Guard marched in the American Legion, Wisconsin 1st District’s Annual Silent March. This year, the march was through Twin Lakes. The KAVV took part in a fundraiser at Milwaukee Burger to help Squadron 21. We also gave them a bit of cash. The group is experiencing a resurgence after a period of stagnation.
