While started by American Legion Post 21 in collaboration with The Bunkers Coffee House for Veterans, this is not a Post 21 initiative, but rather a veterans helping veterans project. The purpose is not just to give care packages, but to spend time talking with veterans for a few hours and let them know their service to the United States is still appreciated.

Did you know that every 4th Saturday is Kids Day at the Bunker’s? Here’s some pictures of our April Kids Day!

All materials and food was by a generous donor of gift cards to purchase all the art supplies, apron, paints, and food, including gift bags, and Mother’s Day card for each children to write mom a special note.
