We caught a scheduling break this year as St Catherines Commons decided to have their annual ceremony on the 10th, Whew! We invited George Peter to attend the ceremony with us again this year.

We were the Color Guard again this year. Tim’s quick thinking got us through a minor equipment failure (not the first time for that). Ask him about it!

The Honor Guard marched in the American Legion, Wisconsin 1st District’s Annual Silent March. This year, the march was through Twin Lakes. Here are KAVV specific pictures, for all pictures and a really great video taken by Woody’s son Tom Jr, check out the 1st Districts website. The KAVV took part in a fundraiser at Milwaukee Burger to help Squadron 21. We also gave them a bit of cash. The group is experiencing a resurgence after a period of stagnation.
